We believe that, as individuals and as a local assembly of believers, our highest priority is to honor God and to allow Him to accomplish His work in and through our lives. We are not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, and we stand unapologetically for the "old time religion." Our church services don't seek to entertain, but rather to edify, educate, and enrich people through the faithful preaching and teaching of the Bible—the inspired Word of God. Most of all, our desire is to magnify our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

At WBC, God is the center of all we do. Our biblical preaching permits us to search the Scriptures during every message. Our music is rich and traditional in style, exalting the Lord. Our activities include countless opportunities for fun, fellowship, and encouragement—but always in a way that draws our attention back to the Lord as the provider of all that is good and wholesome.

The motto of Westgate Baptist Church is "Building Lives With Purpose." Our desire is to see individual lives and families changed by the power of the Gospel. True purpose in life can come only as we know and love the Savior. If you have never personally placed your trust in Jesus, we would encourage you to consider the Bible's teaching on how you can have eternal life by truly knowing Christ.

Our earnest desire at Westgate Baptist Church is to be of help to anyone who is spiritually hungry and searching for the seemingly elusive answers to life's probing questions.
