will notice that our auditorium is filled with plenty of comfortable seats. There are no reserved seats, so you may sit
anywhere. Ushers are available to assist you. Many people will be greeting one another during this time. As you come
through the lobby, we would encourage you to stop briefly at our Welcome Center to receive some helpful information.

Back to Questions
What are the services like? The Sunday morning services generally last about an hour
and 15 minutes. Our services include several opportunities for the congregation to join in a time of joyful singing in
praise to God. There is a time of public prayer by one of our pastors, Scripture is read, and other musical selections
may be presented involving our choir, instrumentalists, or singers. The focal point of our services is the preaching of
the Word of God.
Back to Questions
Is there help for someone who doesn’t speak English? Live translation of our Sunday
morning services is available upon request in both the Spanish and Romanian languages. In addition, one of our Sunday
morning Adult Bible study classes is always taught in Spanish.
Back to Questions
How will I know when to stand? The pastor or the song leader will ask the congregation to
stand or sit. Generally we stand during some of the congregational singing and during times of public prayer.
Back to Questions
What is the pastor's message like? The preaching at Westgate is Bible-based, timely, and
relevant. The messages help us come to know God better, and to understand what He desires for our lives. Sunday morning
messages typically last about 45 minutes. Audio and video recordings of the message are also available from our bookstore.
Back to Questions
Will I be asked to donate money when I visit? At WBC, we believe that God desires that His
people would give financially for the work of the ministry. However, the intention is that those offerings come
principally from those who have committed themselves to the ministry of Westgate—not from our guests. Although an offering
is taken at each of our services, guests should not feel under any obligation to participate. Instead, we would ask that
you fill out a Visitor’s Card and drop it in the offering when it is passed.
